The project for the readjustment of the Rambla de los Argentinos promenade is approoved, elaborated by the Municipality of Maldonado.

The aim is the redevelopment of the waterfront public space , considered as a comprehensive viewpoint shaped by the hills and the sea. The project also includes measures to enhance pedestrian use of space, and redesigning the façade of commercial coastal walk .

The resources for the financing of the works come from the national government.
