Antonio Lussich acquires 1,800 acres of rocky terrain, ranging from the Arroyo El Potrero to the Sierra de la Ballena and from the Rio de la Plata to the Laguna del Sauce.

He and his wife Angela Portillo, undertake the great work of afforestation in this inhospitable region characterized by the presence of sand dunes, kicking off what is now known as "Arboretum Lussich".
