La Cascada park

  • Get to know it in 30 minutes
Located on Route 37 (km 1), it is one of the first places for tourists developed by Francisco Piria around 1899 . He called it the walk of "The ferruginous waterfall " in reference to a cascade of 3 meters height which is surrounded by an ancient forest. It is a comfortable place with a picnic area with barbecues and restrooms.

Piria initially considered placing the original Virgen de los Pescadores (made of terracotta) in this place, and then changed his mind.
