It was opened in 1907. Its track circled Punta Fria and the audience was moved to the track using the train coming to the end of the promenade. Generally, careers were made during the season or weekends.

However, Francisco Pirie did not hesitate to disarm it for the auction of land in Punta Fría which was held on April 1933, the last one did with 86 years.

Remains of the brick walls can still be seen at the intersection of the streets Pedro Visca and Argerion.
