Workers and employees of the area needed a school for their children. Therefore it iwas inaugurated on February 28, 1913 in Pueblo Obrero the School No. 37, designed by architect Alfredo Brown Jones. Today because of the law 15,915 issued on January 8, 1988 is named Francisco Piria.

It still works as such.
